Biography
Frederick L. Fowler is now of counsel to Fowler Doyle Spiess PLLC. He began practicing law in the Capital Region in 1975 when he was admitted to the New York State Bar. Fred graduated from Albany Law School with his Juris Doctorate degree in 1974. In 1981 he moved his office to a historic Schoolhouse building that he had renovated into offices located at 1011 Hoosick Road, Troy, New York. Fred was also town attorney for the Town of Brunswick from 1977 to 1993.
Fred believed there was a need for competent and compassionate legal assistance for the elderly in the Capital Region. He spent many years dedicating his time, focus, and expertise to this area and was regularly appointed by the Courts to provide his legal expertise to disabled individuals in estate and guardianship proceedings.
Fred enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, especially in Florida where he has a residence. He still enjoys solving the occasional legal issue from time to time.
