Susan M. Spiess

Susan M. Spiess was born and raised in Williamsville, New York and moved to Rensselaer County after law school. She attended the State University of New York at Geneseo where she majored in history with minors and economics and environmental studies. She attended the University of Dayton School of Law where she graduated with her JD in 1999 and was admitted to the New York State Bar in January 2000. She began her career with Fowler Law Office in 1999 which ultimately became Fowler, Doyle Spiess PLLC. She is now an owner and a managing partner of the firm. Susan focuses her practice on Elder Law, Estate Planning, Medicaid Planning, Estate Administration and Residential Real Estate and Title Insurance. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association (Trusts and Estates and Elder Law Sections) and a member of the Rensselaer County Bar Association.

Susan resides Easton, New York with her husband, Dwayne, daughter, Paige, two golden retrievers, Kodiak and Stanley and Whinny the horse. She enjoys spending time at home with her family.
